Mellow Tones is a monthly listening session for people who love great records, thoughtful listening and good company. Each evening we deep dive three artists, playing their albums front to back on vinyl, starting mellow and building the energy through the night.
Before each record, that month’s guest selector shares why it matters to them. Between sides, they add some history about the artist and the album. Expect great music, considered listening and good conversation in the Triqis studio-showroom.

Our first edition, selected by Tone Central founder Louis Vellacott: an entry point to the Mellow Tones sound. Aaliyah for the female DNA that runs through it, Anderson .Paak for the album that soundtracked learning to DJ, and Bruno Mars’s most recent project for back-to-back soulful dancing.
Tone Central × Triqis
Triqis designs furniture and lighting for timeless interiors: modern heirlooms in fine metals, made in London. Tone Central is the studio’s music partner, with Louis Vellacott as Triqis resident DJ.
Together we soundtracked The Gingerbread House, a three-day exhibition of Triqis furniture and lighting alongside ceramics, fine art and live performance, built around a custom DJ booth designed especially for the space. Mellow Tones now lives in the new Triqis studio-showroom at Spring House, NW5.
